Committee delays Town of Woodboro maintenance contract pending counsel review

Highway Commissioner Ben Rich told the committee counsel had not yet reviewed the contract and that the town is aware the county charges time-and-materials. Rich said the contract is vague in places and annual costs could fluctuate because the town uses its general transportation aid (GTA) to fund maintenance.
Committee members did not move to approve the contract during the meeting; the item remains on future agendas for follow-up after legal review.
