The discussion is intended to clarify next steps for capacity improvements tied to the rehabilitation project.
Public Works Director Trent Weinman separately reported routine work: crews are painting curbs for handicap and fire zones and batteries for radar speed signs have arrived. Councilmember Don Roberts raised pothole concerns on 7th Street; Weinman said crews will fill them in.
Next steps: Footh will continue soliciting bids for the generator, and staff will coordinate scheduling between procurement and the water‑tower rehabilitation so backup power is in place before construction starts.
