James Maye, Deputy Shane Hannah, Deputy Joshua Workman, Deputy William Golub and Deputy Garret Xavier — as the individuals authorized to notify and make recommendations to the NC ABC Commission on behalf of the town.
Commissioner Greg Doyle asked how ABC-distributed funds that previously supported local law enforcement would be handled now that the Wingate Police Department has been dissolved. "I will have to check in to this," Manager Christina Amos said, adding she would report back with clarifying information about the town's receipt and handling of any ABC distributions.
The board voted unanimously to approve the meeting agenda at the start of the session and later voted unanimously to open a public hearing on the matter; the minutes record the resolution text as attached Exhibit A but do not expressly state a separate vote to adopt the resolution in the minutes provided.
