Liberty Hill ISD trustees approve consent agenda, personnel actions and deny parent grievance

The Liberty Hill ISD board took a series of routine and formal actions July 20, approving the consent agenda, several personnel items and a policy update, and denying a level‑3 parent grievance.
Superintendent Travis Motel presented the consent agenda, which included minutes from the previous meeting, finance reports (tax collections at 98.6% of budgeted tax revenue), bond and project updates (custodial equipment, roof repairs funded from 2021 bond funds and other items), a donation report and an update to the student code of conduct (date changes only). Trustee Mister Ferguson moved to approve the consent agenda; a trustee seconded and the chair announced the motion carried.
On personnel items the board approved professional teacher contracts, accepted resignations as presented and approved employing personnel. Miss Hargrove moved approval of professional contracts and the board carried the motion.
After a closed session the board returned to open session and by motion (moved by Mister Neighbors, seconded by Mister Canaday) denied a level‑3 parent grievance and authorized the superintendent to send notice of the decision.
The board also nominated Kendall (transcript spelling inconsistent) as delegate to the TexEd 26 delegate assembly (motion moved by Mister Kennedy) and confirmed meeting dates: a special called meeting on July 28 at 5 p.m., an August 3 meeting and the regular August 17 meeting. The board adjourned at 9:04 p.m.
