The Public Works Commission voted June 15 to forward an On-Call Electrical Services contract to the Board of Aldermen for approval. Commissioner Johnson moved to forward the contract; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Licavoli and carried unanimously.
Commissioners described the on-call arrangement as a useful model and suggested staff consider similar on-call service contracts for plumbing, HVAC and other trades. Todd Rehg, Public Works Director, told the commission staff is "looking into services for Plumbing, HVAC and other disciplines after the first of the year."
The commission's vote was to forward the proposed On-Call Electrical Services contract to the Board of Aldermen for their consideration; no contract award was recorded in these minutes.
