Heritage Pines CDD to reinspect tree ownership; ESF contract underway for NWRA 33 cleanup

At its April 15 meeting the Heritage Pines Community Development District reviewed maintenance matters including a partially dead oak and contract cleanup activity on a neighborhood retention area.
Chair Kathleen Lonergan reported a dead tree behind 18906 Rolling Hills Loop. District Engineer Kurt Heath's initial inspection concluded the oak is on another resident's property behind 11906 Heritage Pointe Drive and not within CDD-owned easements; Mr. Heath said he will inspect the area again to confirm the location and condition. The board discussed trees in the dry retention area and the condition of the tree.
The board added an action item related to Environmental Solutions Florida, Inc. (ESF) for cleanup work on NWRA 33 by Rolling Hills Loop. The contract was executed and vegetation removal was reported to be underway; Mr. Heath will inspect the cleared area and coordinate repairs. Engineer reports also noted completed drainage inlet repairs on Breland Drive and Hollander Avenue and a concrete curb repair on Fair Way Drive. Lake management staff have three annual reductions of spatterdock scheduled for specified ponds in May.
What happens next: Mr. Heath will reinspect the tree location and report back; ESF will continue vegetation removal and staff will coordinate any needed repairs.
