Resident asks whether Heritage Pines CDD will support new building; board says no decision yet

An unnamed resident asked the Heritage Pines Community Development District board on Dec. 10 whether the CDD would consider supporting infrastructure or financing for a new building Heritage Pines is planning.
District Manager Chuck Adams said the matter has not formally come before the board; he recalled a brief conceptual conversation with the General Manager more than a year earlier but said no formal request or agenda item exists. Adams also cautioned the board about protecting the front gate because of the district’s use of tax-exempt financing.
Chair Kathleen Lonergan said the board needs specifics about what support the resident is requesting and suggested the item could be discussed at the CDD overview workshop scheduled for Feb. 18, 2025, if board members choose to include it.
The exchange did not result in direction or a formal vote; the board suggested further detail and discussion would be required before any decision on infrastructure support or financing could be considered.
