Heritage Pines CDD elects officers, removes assistant secretary

At its Dec. 10 meeting the Heritage Pines Community Development District swore in three newly elected supervisors and adopted Resolution 2025-01, electing the board's officers and removing Janice Benedetti as an assistant secretary.
The Heritage Pines Community Development District Board of Supervisors on Dec. 10, 2024, administered the Oath of Office to three newly elected supervisors and adopted a resolution reorganizing board officers.
District Manager Chuck Adams, acting as a notary, administered the Oath of Office to Arthur Rhodes (Seat 1), Stephen Putman (Seat 2) and Michael Walsh (Seat 3). Adams then presented Resolution 2025-01 to elect and remove officers of the district.
Michael Walsh nominated the slate that the board approved: Kathleen Lonergan as chair, Arthur Rhodes as vice chair, and Michael Walsh, Carol Vaughan and Stephen Putman as assistant secretaries. The resolution also removed Janice Benedetti from the role of assistant secretary; several prior staff appointments named in the resolution remain unchanged, including Craig Wrathell as secretary and treasurer, Chuck Adams as assistant secretary and Jeff Pinder as assistant treasurer.
On a motion by Michael Walsh, seconded by Carol Vaughan, the board adopted Resolution 2025-01 by unanimous voice vote. The reorganization takes effect immediately, and the board will proceed under the newly elected officer structure at future meetings.
The board also reviewed required post-election administrative items: Adams reminded the newly sworn supervisors about electronically filing Form 1, completing four hours of ethics training (the Dec. 31, 2024 deadline applies to incumbents but not to Putman until 2025), the Sunshine Law’s prohibition on discussing CDD business outside noticed meetings, and the Form 8B voting-conflict filing requirement.
