Board advances multiple human-services contracts and housing award to next week’s consent agenda; several behavioral-health items approved

At the July 14 meeting, the Board handled several human-services items and routine contract renewals. Julia Sprinkle asked that five Children and Youth Services items be added to next week’s consent agenda: a short-term $15,000 contract with Family Pathways (June 24–June 30, 2026), a $20,000 renewal with Family Pathways (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027), an Avanco International CAPS Version 19 upgrade for $7,177.03, a $150,000 renewal with George Junior Republic, and a $60,000 renewal with Pressley Ridge. Commissioners voted to add items i–v to next week’s consent agenda.
Faith Ryan requested the Board add a PHFA conditional award of $75,000 (State-funded) for the Housing Supports Program — a housing navigation and rental-assistance service — to next week’s consent agenda; the Board voted to add the award. Cathy Arbogast presented two MH/ID/EI-D&A items: a letter of support for the Jana Marie Foundation’s PCCD grant application seeking DOJ JAG funds for evidence-based programming and a Memorandum of Understanding with the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts to support the Regional Veterans Court Program ($7,000). The Board approved both MH items unanimously.
Later in the meeting the Board approved the week’s Consent Agenda, which included several of the renewals and routine human-services contracts listed on the agenda. The Board also approved the county check run dated July 10, 2026. No public objections to these items were recorded during the meeting.
