Payroll warrants for Jan. 12, Dec. 30 and Jan. 5 were approved on a motion by Kevin Wilson, seconded by Steve Simpson. Accounts payable was approved on a motion by Steve Simpson, seconded by Kristin Paya; Kevin Wilson abstained because he was listed on the warrant. The minutes record all these routine motions as approved.
Board members noted that highway information remains outstanding and must be added to the budget spreadsheet. Delinquent taxes and grant amounts were not yet included in income projections. The board discussed planning for five upcoming tax sales and the upfront costs associated with those sales. Members also identified equipment and infrastructure needs — including replacement trucks, a grader and potential town garage work — and set the town report deadline for Feb. 1. Warrant approval for the next meeting was scheduled for Jan. 26.
