The board reviewed several engineering and facilities items Wednesday, including a school-funded shed request and a change order on athletic fields.
Blackline Middle School requested a 12-by-14 storage shed to be used by its archery team. Speaker 3 said the cost is $5,702 and that the funds have already been raised by the archery team, so there is no cost to the board.
Engineering also reported that Middle Tennessee Electric has requested an additional easement for a new pole and anchor wire on the corner of East Main Street and North Billboro Avenue near Central Magnet; engineering had no objection.
On the Eagleville football-field project, the administration said a change order to correct inadequate subsoil raised the final cost by $59,750. The district said that cost remains at no cost to the board; Eagleville boosters and athletics would cover the expense or it would be taken from that school's capital project funds. The new completion date is scheduled for Aug. 4.
