Proctor selectboard begins first review of FY26 budget; town manager lists operational updates

During departmental reports the sheriff's office provided a report in the meeting packet showing three tickets, zero warnings, zero arrests and $535 in fines collected. Town Manager Judy Frazier highlighted several operational items: a phone system switchover is still in process; a Ground Maintenance Ordinance has been posted; forest-harvest activity is ongoing with ash planned for cutting at upper levels; the Toolcat received a new brush and the old brush will be moved to the rink; the town has received calls about burning on a West Proctor Road property; and the manager is attending meetings and a seminar on Tax Sale Law.
The board entered executive session at 7:27 p.m. for contracts and personnel and exited at 8:16 p.m.; no action was reported. The regular meeting was adjourned at 8:16 p.m.
