The Town of Proctor Selectboard reviewed and signed orders totaling $160,198.97 at its Nov. 25 meeting. The action was recorded in the minutes as completed during the "Review Bills & Expenditures and Sign Selectboard Orders" agenda item; the minutes do not identify individual invoices or departments covered by the total in the agenda text.
The board also circulated a Grounds Maintenance Ordinance for signatures and reached consensus to include $1,640 for the CEDAR Regional Marketing Initiative in the budget. The Selectboard instructed the Town Manager to press CEDAR for better communication and said it prefers Marble Bridge as the location for any CEDAR scavenger-hunt activity. The minutes note the Town Manager will speak with CEDAR about holding a meeting of that organization in Proctor.
In budget business the Selectboard conducted a first review of FY26 budget departments 37–40 and deferred decisions about the use of ARPA funds until the December meeting; the minutes say the board anticipates finalizing the budget at its Dec. 26 meeting.
Other administrative items in the minutes: the town received $42,925 for a second-quarter timber harvest payment (next payment due Jan. 15, 2025); the RCSD removed campers from the gravel pit; a new DPW employee will start Dec. 2, 2024; and the board compared tree-removal estimates (Trees Inc.: $4,150; McCullough: $4,800).
