The Selectboard heard a project update Dec. 9 that drilling work at the Proctor fire station is complete and grouting operations that began Nov. 20 are finished. Fire trucks have been moved back into the station.
Engineering firm ECI provided a handout describing the outcome of the work. Board members discussed arranging a floor scan in the spring and purchasing a piece of equipment recommended by the engineer to verify that the foundation repair is permanent.
No final procurement decisions were recorded; the board included this as part of its ongoing facility oversight.
