Proctor water, sewer boards address sanitary survey deficiencies and approve WWTF flyer mailer

At the Nov. 12 meeting the Proctor Board of Water Commissioners and Board of Sewer Commissioners reviewed recent regulatory and outreach steps for the town’s water and wastewater systems.
The Board of Water Commissioners convened at 7:06 p.m. and reviewed a sanitary survey completed Sept. 17, 2024 that identified deficiencies in the water system. A handout listing deficiencies was provided; minutes state two deficiencies have been corrected and the remainder are in process.
The Board of Sewer Commissioners convened after the water board and noted that an Operation Management and Emergency Plan was submitted to the State of Vermont on Oct. 30, 2024 (document prepared by Nick and Rob). The board reviewed a draft flyer about the wastewater treatment facility (WWTF) project, accepted the flyer, and directed the Town Manager to mail it out as soon as possible.
These items were handled as part of regular board business; the minutes do not record formal votes on corrective actions, only that deficiencies are being addressed and that outreach material was approved for mailing.
