Selectboard appoints Parks & Rec members and awards 2024–25 Roller/Ice Rink contracts

On a motion by Albert Wenta, seconded by Linda Doty, the board appointed Allyson Paszek and Sarah Harrington to the Parks & Recreation Committee for two-year terms (2026). The motion passed unanimously.
The board then considered management contracts for the Roller/Ice Rink for the 2024–25 season. Linda Doty moved to award the contract to co-managers Rachael and Jason Ellison and Amanda and Jeffrey Duchesne; Jay Thorton seconded the motion and the board approved it unanimously.
These appointments and contract awards were recorded under the meeting's discussion and action items; no financial amounts for the contracts were recorded in the minutes. The Town Manager retains responsibility for reviewing and approving facility use agreements, according to the minutes.
