Proctor Selectboard adopts grounds ordinance, reappoints emergency officials and directs salt purchase

Jay Thorton moved to approve the proposed Grounds Maintenance Ordinance as presented; the motion was seconded by Linda Doty and approved unanimously. The board agreed to review Section 4C in October 2025 to address any concerns or complaints.
Linda Doty moved to reappoint Judy Frazier as emergency management director and Kevin Blongy as the emergency services coordinator; both appointments were seconded and approved unanimously. The minutes note both individuals previously held these positions.
The Selectboard reviewed three salt quotes (East $86.61/ton; Cargill $87.25/ton; Apalachee $87.50/ton) and directed the Town Manager to sign a contract with Apalachee for 700 tons. The minutes state the town is already leased with Apalachee’s product.
