A summary of actions the council approved (motions carried by recorded votes unless otherwise noted): - Sheriff Rodney Robinson: Additional Appropriation of $19,500 from Fund #1235.40010.00000.0000 for 911 Center mapping software featuring an "exact locator" (subscription costs to be folded into the existing Motorola contract). Motion passed 7-0. - County Treasurer LeAnn Boots: Funds transfer of $10,000 (split $1,126.97 to a 2nd Deputy line and $8,873.03 to Part-Time). Motion passed 7-0. - WIC Administrator Debbie Lewis: Steuben County WIC grant proposal. Motion passed 7-0. - HR Administrator Erin Schiffli: Additional Appropriation of $500 for probable cause hearings. Motion passed 7-0. - County Recorder Dani Parrish: Funds transfer of $10,000 to cover wages for a new part-time position. Motion passed 7-0. - Highway Department: Additional Appropriation of $22,294.06 for Gas & Oil (projected fuel-station payback estimate: eight years). Motion passed 7-0. - Highway Department: Additional Appropriation of $1,805,754.00 to appropriate 2025 Community Crossings Grant funds. Motion passed 7-0. - Highway Department: Funds transfer totaling $46,883.48 reallocating salary and operating funds into overtime, deer removal, garage supplies and machinery/equipment. The council also approved the May 13, 2025 meeting minutes (motion passed with six ayes; Vice President Christina Cress abstained because she did not attend that meeting) and reviewed the May 2025 Monthly Comparison Report and Financial Statement, which the board found satisfactory (7-0 vote). The meeting adjourned on a motion by Councilman Eric Prall.
