The speaker added that the chair had previously directed the treasurer's office to seek a refund from the title company; staff reported a refund was granted.
A commissioner moved to rescind the tax deed on parcel S112313415 based on the evidence presented; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. Staff said that once the order is signed the property will be free and clear to the current owners.
The action resolves the county's recorded tax deed for parcel S112313415 and removes the county's claim to that title based on the facts laid out in the hearing.
