Selectboard notes solar tax option research, asks manager for facilities agreement on alcohol ordinance

Chair Aileen Chute asked the Town Manager to provide a facilities agreement as part of continued work on the Controlling the Use of Alcoholic Beverages on Town Property ordinance; no changes to the ordinance were adopted at this meeting.
Other committee notes included a Cannabis Control Board virtual meeting scheduled for Oct. 8 and a Recreation Committee meeting on Oct. 17. Several advisory items (Selectboard operating principles, public participation review, alternative transportation advisory committee, highway access policy, event ordinance) were reported as having no progress. The board did not take regulatory action on the alcohol ordinance during the Oct. 1 meeting.
