Richford selectboard accepts $12,500 offer for 50 Farrar Street; raises ambulance fee, approves playground gate purchase

The board approved the Oct. 20, 2025 meeting minutes on a motion from Selectwoman Paquette, seconded by Selectman Andy Pond. The motion passed 4-0 with Selectwoman Kristen Murphy recorded as abstaining.
Selectwoman Paquette moved to approve the purchase of electronic gate materials for the playground, citing a quote from Tony Conner totaling $7,462.52. Selectwoman Kristen Murphy seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
On the topic of emergency services funding, the board voted to raise the ambulance subscription from $75 to $100. Selectwoman Paquette moved the increase and Chair Steinhour seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Chair Steinhour moved the board into an executive session at 5:40 p.m. to discuss contracts; Selectman Andy Pond seconded and the board voted to enter. The board left executive session at 6:00 p.m. on a motion by Selectman Alan Fletcher, seconded by Selectwoman Kristen Murphy. The minutes state there were no votes as a result of the executive session.
The meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
