The committee approved two immediate requests: use by Roxbury Connected on May 11 and Roxbury Roots on May 30. Heidi Albright moved to approve the uses and Tom Frazier seconded; the motion passed 6‑0‑0. Kristen Getler will follow up on communications with the groups.
The committee also discussed operational implications for community use, including kitchen recertification and the need to secure fire‑safety services (alarm monitoring, sprinkler and hood suppression) before some types of use; the Fire Marshal indicated a Change of Ownership filing and inspection may be required once vendor work is completed.
