"This strengthens Idaho's return on investment and addresses shortages in agricultural and veterinary services," Nichols said.
Chairman Guthrie asked whether the sponsor anticipated the RS returning to the Agricultural Affairs Committee; Nichols said she expected it would return to either Agricultural Affairs or Education after printing. Senator Adams moved to send the RS to print; Senator Den Hartog seconded and the motion carried by voice vote.
The RS will be printed and referred for committee assignment; the minutes do not record further details on enforcement, funding, or specific hour requirements beyond the sponsor's comparison to a 600-hour medical-student requirement.
