Tom Paquette, a member of the Cemetery Commission, moved to offer the mowing contract to Duke Maxwell; Ray Harvey seconded the motion. The minutes record the motion and state, "All in favor." The minutes also list five people present for the meeting: Tom Paquette, Ray Harvey, Joe Schenkman, Nancy Woolley and Michele Schnabel (by phone). The commission decided to offer a one‑year contract with a review during the year and at year end to consider a three‑year agreement.
The minutes say commissioners plan to meet with Duke Maxwell before the spring mowing season to review the full scope of work and clarify expectations.
