Richford selectboard authorizes 4-year plow truck financing, approves attic insulation contract and directs violation letter

Chair Steinhour moved to adopt a four‑year financing plan to purchase a new town plow truck; Selectman Andy Pond seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The board then approved entering a contract to install blown‑in insulation in the Town Hall attic after a motion by Chair Steinhour, seconded by Pond; that motion also passed unanimously. Both votes were taken following a closed executive session for personnel and related contract reviews.
Earlier in the meeting, Acting Zoning Administrator Karen Cangelosi asked the board to have the Town Attorney send a violation letter to a property owner for non‑compliance; Selectman Alan Fletcher moved to send the letter, Selectman Andy Pond seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
The board carried out routine approvals of past meeting minutes earlier in the session and closed the meeting after a motion to adjourn by Selectman Pond. The minutes show the board is pursuing the plow purchase via multi‑year financing and proceeding with a Town Hall improvement intended to address insulation needs.
