Mosier council approves revised Sept. 20 minutes and Special Cities Allotment resolution

Mosier, Ore. — At its Oct. 4 meeting, the Mosier City Council approved changes to the Sept. 20 meeting minutes and unanimously adopted Resolution #2017-08, the Special Cities Allotment.
Minutes: The council reviewed the Sept. 20 minutes and voted to delete a sentence from a City Manager interview response that members said "had no relevance to the integrity of both candidates." Councilor Peny Wallace moved to approve the minutes with the agreed changes; Councilor Ann Van Osdol seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Resolution: Councilor Marc Berry moved to approve the Special Cities Allotment Resolution #2017-08; Councilor Ann Van Osdol seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
Other administrative items noted at the meeting included short community 'gratitude' comments from councilors and staff, a report that a past residential break-in had been resolved, and an administrative plan for office coverage on Oct. 9 and Oct. 11. Finance staff Kayla Nelson offered to post contact information on the office door while City Manager-elect Colleen Coleman said she might take calls from home until officially in the office.
Both motions were recorded in the meeting minutes as passing unanimously. The meeting was held at the Mosier Senior Center and adjourned at 7:47 p.m.
