Selectboard approves Putney Place water/sewer allocation increase, rejects mowing bid and authorizes emergency check signing

The Putney Selectboard on Nov. 13 approved several routine administrative motions moved by Eric McGowan and seconded by Peg Alden.
The board approved increasing Putney Place's sewer and water allocation by 480 gallons per day to a new total of 3,080 gallons per day on a motion moved by McGowan and seconded by Alden. The town manager presented the request on behalf of Katy Emond of Putney Place. The transcript records the motion as "approved" but does not include a roll-call vote.
The board also rejected the single mowing bid received for town properties and cemeteries and directed the town to re-bid closer to spring. McGowan moved the rejection; Alden seconded and the motion passed.
Additionally, the board voted to authorize the treasurer to sign payroll and accounts-payable checks in emergency situations; that motion was approved. Warrants were approved for payroll dated Nov. 15, 2024 in the amount of $25,214.27 and accounts payable dated Nov. 2–15, 2024 in the amount of $112,511.76, which the minutes note include final payment to KRT Appraisal and a Lifepak purchase for the Fire & Rescue station.
