Proctor selectboard signs $209,119.62 in orders, approves reappraisal and water loan agreements

The Proctor Selectboard on Aug. 12 reviewed and signed Selectboard orders totaling $209,119.62 and approved several administrative contracts and agreements that the town said will support infrastructure and valuation work.
Selectboard members signed an agreement with Catalyst for software and professional services to support a municipal reappraisal. The board also approved the FY25 assessor contract after a requested correction to page 3; Selectboard member Bruce Baccei moved to approve the contract and Linda Doty seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
The board signed a Vermont State Revolving Fund loan agreement to fund a line‑inventory project. Devon Neary of the Rutland Regional Planning Commission told the board that residents have not responded with the necessary information, so A&E will go door‑to‑door to obtain data. Albert Wenta moved to sign the loan agreement; Linda Doty seconded and the board approved the motion unanimously.
Officials noted that the highway paving award has been issued and that paving work is expected to begin in September. The board also reviewed routine departmental orders and other operational details, including pending hydrant flushing scheduled for the week of Aug. 19.
Actions recorded in the meeting included motions to convene the Board of Water Commissioners and the Board of Sewer Commissioners during the meeting to address specific operational items; both motions were approved. The meeting adjourned at 8:26 p.m.
