Miltona supervisors validate petition, approve ROW letter, liquor-license consents and a temporary road closure

The Miltona Township Board of Supervisors took several routine actions at its Feb. 18, 2025 meeting.
The board voted 3-0 to sign Resolution 2025-1, accepting the validity of a petition related to Chicago Club LN NE and authorizing the chair and clerk to sign necessary documents. The minutes record the motion as made by Jerome Haggenmiller and seconded by Brent Boesl.
The board also approved, by a 3-0 vote, a letter granting a right-of-way (ROW) request with a stipulation that any damage to roadways or landscaping within the ROW be restored to original condition at the contractor's expense.
By the same 3-0 margins, supervisors approved consent to On-Sale & Sunday Liquor Licenses for Chet's Lakeside Inn, Inc. and for Jim & Judy's.
A public-floor speaker identified as David requested permission to close Parker's Road for three days this spring to host road-maintenance equipment operation training. The board approved a temporary closure for operator education by motion, 3-0.
The board set its next regular meeting for Monday, March 10, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Miltona Community Center.
