The Town of St. George Selectboard opened a publicly warned hearing at 6:03 p.m. on May 21, 2026, to review work funded by a $42,600 Vermont Community Development Program (VCDP) grant. Selectboard Chair Joel Colf called the hearing and introduced Sarah Muskin of CCRPC, who summarized the project and its uses.
Muskin, identified as a representative of CCRPC, said the $42,600 award paid for an Americans with Disabilities Act compliance audit, community engagement, an environmental review and design services for town building infrastructure improvements, including architectural, electrical and civil engineering work. "The funds received of $42,600 have been used to accomplish an ADA compliance audit, community engagement, environmental review and design services for the town buildings' infrastructure improvements," Muskin said.
Selectboard member Adam Dantzscher moved to open the hearing; Terri Hallenbeck seconded. The motion carried unanimously. The board opened the meeting for public comment; no members of the public spoke.
Hallenbeck asked whether there was a firm time limit to complete the project. Muskin responded that there is no official VCDP time limit but warned that cost estimates can expire; she said she will work with Chair Joel Colf and Treasurer Adam Beach to close out the grant. After the exchange, Dantzscher moved to close the hearing; Hallenbeck seconded and the board voted unanimously to close it.
The Selectboard recorded the hearing opening and closing with unanimous votes and no substantive public comment. Town Clerk Lisa Laramee submitted the minutes; the minutes were edited by Vice Chair Judy Scott.
