The Selectboard approved an RFP for VAOT Grant BC2287 after a presentation by Road Commissioner Scott Brooks and consultant Ron Rodjenski. Terri Hallenbeck moved to approve the RFP for publication as presented; Judy Scott seconded and the motion passed with all members voting in favor. Brooks said he would publish the RFP promptly with a response deadline of March 16, 2026.
Brooks also reported localized road maintenance issues: potholes opening on West Oakhill Road that will be fixed in the spring, a damaged sign on Whitetail Path, and rebar protruding on Willowbrook. Chair Joel Colf asked Brooks to follow up with Todd Pillsbury about keeping the Town Hall front entrance, the mailbox and the schoolhouse clear during winter.
The RFP approval was recorded as a formal action and the road report contained operational follow-ups rather than additional motions.
