City Manager Jay Stroebel presented the recommendation and described Culver's appointment. The motion to approve the appointment was made by Amanda Cheng Xiong and seconded by Christian Eriksen and passed on a unanimous roll-call vote: Page, McGarvey, Tran, Eriksen, Xiong and Mayor Hollies Winston voted yes.
The council did not attach additional conditions to the appointment at the meeting. Culver's start date and salary were recorded in the motion; personnel paperwork and onboarding will proceed through the city manager's office and human resources.
