The Madison Redevelopment Commission approved Resolution 2026-4R to authorize the disposition of a parcel in the North Madison Economic Development Area to LAR Properties LLC.
Tony (Redevelopment staff) introduced the resolution and said the mayor's office and city economic development staff had reviewed and recommended the acceptable offer. Amy Ralston, speaking for LAR Properties, said the purchase covers two acres on Shunpike Road and that the applicants plan a multipurpose site with contracting operations, rental homes and an eventual cabinet-making business. "This is my husband, Landon Ralston. We are here on behalf of LAR Properties LLC," Amy Ralston said.
Commissioners asked no substantive questions, and a motion to approve Resolution 2026-4R was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. The commission scheduled a routine signing and moved on to the next agenda item.
The resolution authorizes disposition under the redevelopment commission's authority; the developer said they will return with specifics as plans crystallize.
