State provisionally reclassifies two Sandgate roads; Selectboard moves on administrative items

The Sandgate Selectboard was notified at its April 20 meeting that the State granted provisional reclassification for Tate Hill Road and Chambers Road. The board was told it must now proceed with the full reclassification process to make the change permanent.
The minutes record several administrative updates: the audit is tentatively scheduled for late May pending contact with Sullivan & Powers; two new computers were purchased for the Clerk/Treasurer and the Listers; and the board is waiting for a list and quote from Mike Oltedal for cameras at the Town Garage and other computer hardware. Contractor updates also note window delivery in about six weeks and roughly one week for installation.
On financial procedures, the board agreed unanimously that the Town should have a Bank of Bennington credit or debit card for authorized purchases; Jessica Lewis will ask the bank this week about the process. The minutes note that orders were signed during the meeting.
Selectboard member Joe Nolan moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded and the meeting adjourned at 6:35 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for May 4 at 6 p.m. at Town Hall.
