District Counsel and management briefed the River Ridge CDD Board on requirements from recently enacted legislation, HB7013, requiring special districts to establish annual goals, objectives and performance measures and to post an initial report online.
Staff proposed three primary performance categories for FY2025 — Community Communication and Engagement, Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance, and Financial Transparency and Accountability — and said the initial report must be posted on the CDD website by Dec. 1, 2025. The Board voted to approve the Goals & Objectives and the Performance Measures/Standards & Annual Reporting Form.
On a motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Twombly, "with all in favor," the Board approved the materials and added the reporting task to the Key Activity Dates list.
