District Manager Chuck Adams told the board the FY2025 budget in the meeting packet contained errors; Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal identified a needed clarification to the "Street sweeping" description and staff made the amendment before the vote. No members of the public spoke during the hearing.
On a motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Twombly, "with all in favor," the board adopted Resolution 2024-07, relating to annual appropriations and adopting the budget for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2024 and ending Sept. 30, 2025, as amended. The Board recorded no opposing votes.
The budget adoption completes the district’s formal appropriations process for FY2025; staff said any subsequent technical corrections may be handled through authorized budget amendments.
