Marshal reports senior outreach and officer training; fire department schedules fundraiser and requests unit labeling

Town Marshal Michael Marquess reported that Adult Protective Services spoke at the Senior Convocation about scam and fraud prevention and that a second Town Marshal roundtable drew 18 officers to cover Freedom of Information Act obligations, dementia training, railroad emergency response, ignition-interlock-device issues and strategies for community engagement and earning public trust. Marquess also urged residents to watch county winter-storm advisories and to tend to outdoor pets.
