Steve and Joni Lyman asked the Development Review Board to waive the complete boundary survey normally required for subdivision on their roughly 193 +/- acre property on Howe Hill Road, saying the perimeter — nearly three miles — makes a full boundary survey an undue financial burden for subdividing a roughly 1.5 +/- acre parcel that serves a long-standing secondary residence.
Dee Gish voiced concern that granting a waiver could set a precedent for future subdivisions. John Roe said he would contact TRORC to ask whether an exemption pathway exists and aimed to have a clearer sense by the next meeting. The board did not grant the waiver at the Feb. 11 meeting and took no formal vote on the Lymans' request that night.
The matter remains before the DRB pending staff follow-up with TRORC and the DRB's further consideration at a future meeting.
