Neighbors raise trail and wetland concerns as Double C subdivision moves toward April hearing

Peter Anderson told the board that a road had been constructed through a swampy area on Double C land at the end of Chapel Hill Road, a concern Lou Cadwell countered by saying the road upgrade "was done under the approval and supervision of the road foreman." John Roe, a Planning/DRB member, said the board would observe the site during the forthcoming visit.
At the DRB's request from the prior meeting, Cadwell and Greg Chase provided an up-to-date survey of the three lots proposed for subdivision. Roe said the board is "shooting for April for a final public hearing and site visit," but no formal approvals were made that night.
The DRB recorded the concerns for the record and set process steps: collect public input at the planned hearing and inspect the site before any decision on driveways or road improvements is made.
