The board reviewed and signed selectboard orders totaling $62,469.19 during the Oct. 28 meeting.
The sheriff’s report, included in the packet, listed seven tickets, four warnings and one arrest with fines totaling $1,009; board members discussed pricing speed-limit signs and noted plans to apply for the Municipal Roads Program (MRP) in January. Town Manager Judy Frazier reported that newly paved roads have been striped, the Tri-Town Path discussion produced additional options, the Beaver Pond Committee made requests (attached memo), DPW filled the entrance to Beaver Pond and will begin shoulder work on Florence Road, and DPW assisted with a pipe replacement off North Street. The town is continuing budget work; CEDAR is scheduled to attend the Nov. 12 meeting for an annual request and tree removal quotes are being collected.
VLCT has been notified about fire truck locations for insurance purposes. The board had no other old or new business and adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
