The Louisa County Board of Supervisors on July 1, 2025 approved two resolutions moving funds between county accounts to support conservation and capital projects.
Resolution 202532 transfers $40,000 from the Conservation Land Acquisition Fund to the Capital Improvement Fund as the third installment repayment for the purchase of the Mabeus Addition to Virginia Grove Recreation Area. The resolution instructs the Auditor to make the transfer in July 2025 and to notify the Treasurer.
Resolution 202533 transfers $69,489.17 from the General Basic Fund to the Conservation Land Acquisition Fund. The resolution cites Iowa Code 350.6 as the statutory authority for the conservation fund transfer.
