The meeting, held under the Board’s authority in Alabama Code, Title 15, Chapter 22, was called to order at 8:30 a.m. Minutes state that board members Darryl Littleton and Gabrelle Simmons were present and that Nicole Lewis served as the Board secretary; the minutes include signature lines identifying Hal Nash as chairman. The Board reviewed its docket, heard remarks from family members, victim advocates (including Venesha Bradley of VOCAL) and an Attorney General Office representative, India Eaves, and voted on each case in turn.
Decisions recorded in the minutes show the Board denied parole in a large share of cases on the docket. Examples of denials include Jimmie E. The Board granted parole or pardons in a smaller number of matters. Travis M. Williams (AIS# 330612) was granted parole with a reset date of October 2026. Maxwell L. Sanders (AIS# 216944) was granted parole with special conditions including completion of the Perry County Probation/Parole Reentry Education Program (PREP), placement in an approved halfway house, GPS ankle monitoring, NA/AA participation, and mental-health follow-up and drug assessment upon release. The Board granted full pardons to Andrew Woods (AIS# 182714), Sherry L. Hardy (AIS# 810182) with restoration of all civil and political rights, Christopher T. Andrews (AIS# 807758) and Daniel A. Wilson (AIS# 271467). For Michael A. King (AIS# 291805) the Board granted a pardon with specific restrictions, including relief from the habitual offender act and relief from certain firearms disabilities, as recorded.
One limited restoration was granted: Rusty G. Watts II (AIS# 827389) was granted voting rights only. Multiple other grants carried supervised-release conditions intended to support reentry, including halfway-house placement, GPS monitoring, counseling and drug assessment requirements.
The minutes show routine administrative business as well: the Board reviewed attached lists of files for revocation and delinquent parolee files. The meeting adjourned at 12:32 p.m.; the next meeting was scheduled for Oct. 30, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. at 301 South Ripley Street in Montgomery.
