Committee approves appointments for tax collector and CMFO; authorizes executive session

At the Jan. 15 special meeting the Lebanon Township Committee approved two administrative resolutions and later authorized an executive session.
The governing body adopted Resolution 29-2025 to appoint Diane Lautenbach as certified tax collector. The Chair and several committee members praised Lautenbach's experience; the motion was moved, seconded and carried on roll call.
The committee then adopted Resolution 30-2025 to name Lorraine England as Lebanon Township's certified municipal finance officer (CMFO) as part of a shared-services agreement with Hanover Township; staff explained the agreement term (three years under the shared-service arrangement) and members endorsed the appointment by roll call.
Near the end of the public meeting the committee approved Resolution 31-2025 authorizing an executive session to discuss a contract negotiation. The governing body entered executive session and later reconvened, announcing that no action was taken in executive session.
The committee scheduled a follow-up special meeting for Jan. 22 at 6:00 p.m. to consider other agenda items discussed during the Jan. 15 session.
