Jennifer Randall used the public-comment period to report difficulty getting information from city staff about a property-line and curb issue near her property.
Randall (speaker S2) said she had called city hall and then public works "2 or 3 different times" over the past two to three months and still had not received a return call. "I had called city hall, and then I was told to call public works. I called public works... I never got a phone call back," she said.
Council members responded that a surveyor is typically needed to establish property lines and advised Randall on the procedural steps for curb installation and permitting. The transcript does not record a commitment from staff to follow up directly with Randall after the meeting.
Next steps: Council directed Randall informally to obtain a surveyor; no formal referral to staff or public-works follow-up was recorded in the transcript.
