City Administrator Michael Meyers reported the city's street sweeper had required extensive and costly repairs over the past month and suggested the council consider replacing the equipment; he noted the sweeper is jointly shared with the City of Arnolds Park and that he had discussed replacement options with Arnolds Park staff. Meyers also said he was working on a consolidated 28E agreement to combine three existing intergovernmental agreements related to shared police coverage into a single agreement.
The minutes include a claims list and a summary of revenues and expenditures for the period; total revenues for June were $131,723.83 and total expenditures for 06/10/2026 through 07/14/2026 were $624,123.44 (claims total $520,170.61; payroll total $103,952.83). The council did not take final action on equipment replacement or the 28E agreement at this meeting.
