Chairperson Dennis J. Regan opened a public hearing on the conditional use permit for an instructional studio at 15 Lone Oak Lane. City Planner Jacob Maas reviewed staff findings that the proposed use fits the definition of a Community Cultural Facility (instruction, training or tutelage such as martial arts) and recommended approval subject to compliance with building and fire codes and maintaining hours in the Plan of Business Operation.
Ken Kranzman, the property owner and applicant, spoke in favor of the proposed business. No appearances in opposition were recorded and Regan closed the hearing. Alderperson Liaison Tom Pechacek moved to approve the Conditional Use Permit; Member Scott Henke seconded and the motion carried.
The approval is conditional on the items Maas listed; building permits and inspections will be required before operation.
