The Middleton Public Works Committee recommended on July 20 that the finance and personnel committee and common council approve a developer agreement with High Road Development Company for the Middleton Valley Apartments, which would extend public water and sanitary sewer on High Road.
Staff said the agreement — prepared by the city engineer and included in the meeting packet with public improvement plans — contains conditions to be satisfied before final approval, including payment of CDA fees and bonds and resolution of any remaining engineering comments to the satisfaction of the city engineer.
A committee member moved that the Public Works Committee recommend approval of the developer agreement to finance and personnel and common council with conditions on receipt of all required fees and bonds and satisfactory resolution of outstanding plan comments; another member seconded the motion and the committee approved the recommendation.
Next steps: staff will track outstanding engineering comments and confirm receipt of required fees and bonds before forwarding the agreement for committee and council action.
