Russell Springs council approves digital sign at City Hall, clears routine business and reappoints gas board representative

During the meeting the mayor announced he would reappoint John Stivers as the city's representative to the natural gas board for a new three-year term.
No formal ordinance numbers or detailed procurement amounts for the sign were provided during the public reading; the mayor noted the city had received three or four bids and that staff were continuing to work with bidders. The clerk and mayor said the lowest bid had been identified but did not provide a vendor name or a final contract amount.
