TJ Milford, chair of the Fowler Public Schools Board of Education, called a special meeting of Unified School District 225 to order at 7:10 p.m. on Aug. 20, 2024, at Fowler Elementary School.
The board, which listed seven members present, first adopted the meeting agenda. Omar Mijares moved to adopt the agenda as presented, and Jeff Zortman seconded; the motion carried unanimously, 7-0.
Under communications, there were no public comments during the hearing of visitors.
On the only substantive action item, the board voted to approve a proposed family survey. Milford moved to adopt the survey questions with revisions; Travis Sutterfield seconded. The motion carried 7-0. The transcript records that the survey was adopted with revisions but does not specify what changes were made.
Dana Bartezko moved to adjourn the meeting; Jeff Zortman seconded. The motion carried 7-0 and the meeting adjourned at 7:53 p.m. No further business was recorded.
