Parks director: more than 300 responses on Pilla Park CDBG redevelopment; bids expected in April

Parks and Recreation Director Sally Pennington told the commission on Feb. 9 that the department collected more than 300 online responses and held public engagement sessions as part of planning for the Pilla Park CDBG redevelopment project.
Pennington said the project remains on track to solicit bids in the first part of April, with bid review scheduled for mid-May. She also noted continued outreach and additional engagement sessions planned so residents can provide input before bids are solicited.
The report included programmatic updates on seasonal sports: winter basketball is finishing and preparations for spring soccer are underway.
